However, there is another creative realm where images also compete for the public’s attention: the city. Facades, shutters, party walls, walls, signs, posters, and storefronts are all part of a constantly changing visual landscape. Street art transforms these everyday spaces into mediums for communication. Unlike a gallery or a website, the street is an unpredictable environment, shared by diverse audiences and saturated with visual stimuli. Each piece must find a way to stand out, engage with its context, and convey an idea in a matter of seconds.
