Get to know Vero, who will tell you about her career as an illustrator and her collaborations with brands, and discover where she draws inspiration from when creating her designs.
Start the course by researching and selecting a theme, to then create a mood board to give you more direction and inspiration for your pattern collection. Then, Vero guides you through her method for choosing a color palette.
Next, start drawing the two types of elements for your patterns: general textures and main objects. Recreate them on Illustrator, and learn how to plan a collection by creating small sketches. Start giving shape to your collection by illustrating digitally on the silhouette of your garment.
Vero shows you how to work directly over your clothes patterns, leaving your files ready to be sent for printing and how to apply your designs onto mock-ups to visualize the results.
See the digital pattern technique: sublimation, the materials, and its different uses. Select the fabric for your collection and see some finishes and complementary artisanal techniques to add to your designs, to transform them into unique pieces. Lastly, see it applied to your final collection.

Create a collection of six digitized patterns for clothing, that will tell a visual story developed from a conceptual idea.
For illustrators, graphic designers, and all those who want to create designs for textile pieces.
It is recommended to have basic knowledge of how to use Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.
As for materials, you need a computer with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator or an iPad with Procreate, or basic drawing material (pencils, an eraser, and paper).
