About the final project for: Professional Food Photography: Take Dynamic Shots

Professional Food Photography: Take Dynamic Shots

“We have come to the end of this Domestika course! Thanks for taking my lessons. I hope you enjoyed the course and it was useful to you! Now I'll show you how to show your project to the whole community. First, choose the movement that inspires you the most, the one that made you think at first glance: "I want to do it too!". You can also try to make more than one type, but I recommend that you select just one to get started. Tell us the reason for your choice! Once you have decided which shot to dedicate yourself to and the ingredients you want to include, it's time to dedicate yourself to the backdrop. Don't worry if you don't have a professional one. You can also use a tablecloth or table in your home for the first attempt.

Then, choose the props to add to fill the story you want to tell with your image. Use the things you have at home! Over time, you will fall in love with objects that you will see in shop windows and flea markets, and you will soon have a nice collection.
Position your camera, rehearse for the ideal setting of the lights and don't forget the importance of focus and composition of the shot. Take your time, it takes patience to get to the perfect shot.
Proceed by trial and error, change the arrangement of objects, take lots of photos and don't get down on yourself if you can't do it the first time. Remember that photography requires patience. Share the shot you like best!
When you have found the shot that convinces you, you can move on to post-production in Lightroom or Photoshop, using the tips I gave you during the lessons.
If you want, you can also have fun making nice animated GIFs to share here and of course on your social media as well.
I am really curious to see the result of your efforts! Don't forget to leave feedback to other people who have taken the course. I'll try to be as present as possible in the forum too to be able to give you some advice and get to know each other better, but be patient if it takes me some time to do it. Thanks again for taking my course, I hope it will help you create tons of different and fun projects! Soon!”
