Then learn the basic knots, their variants, and how to combine them before planning out your project alongside your teacher.
Calculate the length of cord for the back piece of your shelf and knot each of the sections from top to bottom.
Once the backing is finished, create straps to hold the wooden shelf and add decorative borders and fringe. Lara then shows you a few alternative designs for your wall shelf and shares some ideas to get you knotting your next project.
