Graphic designer

Jorge Elósegui Astrain (San Sebastián, 1981) is a graphic designer and art director, founder of Estudio Primo, which he has been running as a freelancer since 2013. After graduating in Business Administration, he decided to dedicate himself to what he truly loved: design. He began his career in fashion in 2005 and, over time, expanded his practice to include product and spatial design projects. Although he is the face of the studio, the work teams adapt according to each project, allowing him to tackle both small commissions and large productions.

In addition to his work for brands and companies, Jorge develops personal projects as a means of creative exploration and an escape from the daily grind. He eschews strict specialization and prefers to keep an open mind to experiment and remain motivated as a designer. His vision of design is holistic: he sees each project as an opportunity to create human connections, collaborate with clients who share values, and promote better consumption and production practices. For him, quality and motivation outweigh budget or reach, because every creative decision can contribute to building a better place in which to live and work.
In addition to his work for brands and companies, Jorge dedicates part of his time to personal projects, conceived as a way to explore ideas and keep his creative motivation alive. For him, the key is collaborating on projects he believes in, prioritizing quality and a personal connection with clients, who often become friends. His studio reflects this philosophy: a space where curiosity, honesty, and creativity come together to shape fresh and stimulating proposals.
