Introduction to Geometric Stone Carving
A course by Zoë Wilson , Stone Carver

Learn traditional stone carving techniques to create unique works of art
Zoe Wilson doesn’t quite think she chose stone carving, but rather stone carving chose her. She feels a deep connection with the material she works with, as well as the age-old techniques of the trade. Zoe takes equal joy in the process of carving as she does the accuracy and beauty of the final product. She has worked on everything from restoring the British Houses of Parliament to building homes and exhibited her artwork at galleries across the UK and in Japan.
In this online course, learn with her the basic technique of working with stone and carving a five-point star. The process will set you up well to continue your journey with carving, as you’ll pick up the skills you need to take on bigger challenges when carving almost any other geometric pattern or letter form.
