Martin Inthamoussu
A course by Martin Inthamoussu
Martin Inthamoussú is a cultural manager, choreographer, and creative economy specialist with an extensive international career in cultural policy and audience development. He has held key roles at SODRE in Uruguay, where he founded the Contemporary Dance Area of the National School of Dance and served as its president from 2020 to 2022, leading major institutional transformations and new management models.
He is the creator and director of the Montevideo Sitiada International Dance Festival, a leading platform for contemporary dance in the region. His work bridges artistic practice and strategic management, focusing on expanding access to culture and strengthening creative ecosystems across Latin America and the Caribbean.
In addition to teaching at universities across the Americas and Europe, he currently serves as Deputy Curator of the Art Program at the World Bank in Washington, D.C., and coordinates academic programs in cultural management. His approach integrates art, innovation, and public policy to drive sustainable impact in the cultural sector.
