Aldo Jarillo is an illustrator and visual artist. Although he started out as an editorial designer, his interest in imagery soon led him to illustration and, from there, he immersed himself fully in the art world. He is passionate about the potential dialog between different elements and the puzzle of turning an idea or emotion into an artwork.

Throughout his career he has collaborated with The New Yorker, Letras Libres, and El Malpensante. He also won the International Illustration Biennial in Ukraine.

Illustrator Leonor Pérez was born in Santiago, Chile where she also received her BA in visual arts. She taught children and teens for some years until finally deciding to dedicate herself solely to illustration. She then moved to Mexico to study the discipline at the UNAM's Casa Universitario del Libro, a trip that had a great impact on her career. She went on to study imagination and creativity and is currently taking a master's in education. She has worked for the vast majority of the publishing houses across Chile as well as collaborated with publishers in Mexico, the US, Korea, and Brazil.

She is a three-time winner of the IBBY Chile's Hummingbird Medal and her book Balada da estrela e outros poemas has won awards from the FNLIJ IBBY Brasil and the Catedra Unesco de Leitura PUC-Rio. Additionally, Leonor is a professor for the illustration diploma and continuing education program at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.

Alejandra Acosta is a Chilean illustrator known for her undaunted exploration of visual techniques and languages in her art and the books she illustrates. After earning a degree in graphic design, Alejandra spent several years working as an art director before deciding to pursue her passion for illustration full time.

With more than a decade of experience, she's found success as a professional illustrator and has an extensive portfolio showcasing her diverse illustration styles. She has collaborated with many of the big names in publishing including Jekyll & Jill, Zorro Rojo, Barbara Fiore, Amanuta, Fondo de Cultura Económica, Sexto Piso, Carthusia, Loqueleo, Planeta, and Random House.

Patricia Escalante studied painting at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. However, she spent 12 years of her career pursuing one of her other passions: graphic design. During that time, she worked with companies like Kerzen and Unique/Yanbal.

Now she is fully devoted to art and experiments with graphite drawing and other digital techniques. Much of her work focuses on portraits of artists and people she admires. Inspired by classic magazine graphics and black and white photography, Patricia explores the depth of portraits as an art form and depicts her figures in timeless spaces.

Samuel Castaño is an illustrator and graphic designer from Medellín. And despite having lived in other parts of the world, that is where he really finds the inspiration to create his works.

He began doing illustrations for magazines, newspapers and other media, but it was thanks to a self-publication called "Imperfections" that he made the leap into the publishing world. In recent years he has worked for publishers in Colombia, Mexico and Spain, such as Penguin RH, Alfaguara, Tragaluz, Juventud, Ekaré, SM, A buen paso, Castillo, Norma, among others.
