After pulling apart the cotton, you'll secure it with adhesive and carefully place it on the scar wax. Then, using a fine detailing brush, you'll apply fake blood around the edges and inside the cotton to create realistic wounds. Finally, you'll add string to complete the look.

In this lesson, you'll focus on the final details of your special effects makeup. You'll begin by cleaning up lines and adding finishing touches with black powder and lipstick around the mouth. Next, you'll cut pieces of string, apply adhesive to specific areas, and carefully place the string for a stitched look. Finally, you'll enhance the effect with fake blood and eyeliner to create more dramatic detailing around the eyes and mouth.
