Specialization in the Design and Creation of Concrete Furniture

En Concreto is a Mexican workshop that has been designing and handcrafting objects out of concrete since setting up shop in 2014. They started out making flower pots, but over time have significantly expanded the reach of their business and the range of their products. They currently offer a wide variety of pieces, from decorative accessories to both interior and urban furniture.

Their work highlights the often-overlooked potential of concrete and the timeless designs that can enhance any space with a touch of originality. As creators of decorative objects and urban furniture, they actively promote the bond between their products and nature since the two can exist in perfect harmony in public spaces.

Mother-daughter duo María Alexandra and María Camila–professional interior designers with a passion for handicrafts–are the founders of their own design studio and decorative objects brand La María Living. The two generations join forces and feed off each other’s creativity to bring objects to life, giving them a highly pleasing esthetic without forgoing functionality and everyday uses.

Inspired by macrotrends, they play with color, textures and artisan techniques to carefully craft their concrete products. Through this process they create their own worldview and express it through unique, timeless designs where concrete, thanks to its characteristics, is often the primary material used.

Andrés García, founder of the PAAT space/workshop, is a renowned Mexican artisan and creator. With an innate passion for art and creation, Andrés has experimented with different types of cement and formulations, as well as different mold techniques using silicone. His creative approach is based on the reuse of materials, especially recycled plastics, to bring unique and functional ideas to life.

Originally from Tijuana, Mexico, Andrés has collaborated with prominent brands such as Teorema Brewing, Flora Grubb Gardens, and Farnsworth Modern. His creations have captivated clients around the world, and his work is distinguished by its combination of innovative aesthetics and commitment to sustainability.

Giorgio La Corte is a civil engineer and the founder of the design brand Forma&Cemento. Gabriele De Chirico is a product designer and part of the creative team for the brand. Together, they've cultivated a passion for artisan design, using a common yet versatile compound like concrete to build luxury furniture and decor for both indoor and outdoor use.

Thanks to their work, they've changed the perception of concrete from a typical construction material to one worthy of high-end creations. The duo also loves to experiment with new shapes and curves to simulate flexible, lightweight designs in their solid pieces. Throughout their careers, they've decorated a wide variety of spaces, from private residences to public parks.
