Learn to prototype 3D scenes with Gaussian Splatting, a method that turns photos and video into detailed volumetric reconstructions. The course walks you through the whole process: capturing material, preparing your dataset, processing and cleaning it, and exporting splats you can drop into a 3D pipeline.
You’ll work with tools like RealityScan, Polycam, Sharp Frames, SuperSplat and LichtFeld Studio, and see how they fit into workflows built around Blender, Houdini, Octane and other renderers. Along the way, you’ll get a clear sense of how Gaussian Splatting differs from traditional photogrammetry, how to trim and optimize your data, and how to prepare scenes for virtual production, motion graphics, VFX, VR, AR and architectural work.
By the end, you’ll know how to plan and run a solid capture‑to‑reconstruction workflow and produce Gaussian Splatting scenes ready for use in animation and 3D design projects.
