Learn illustration and visual design by creating the complete art for a memory card game from scratch. In this course, illustrator Desiree De la Cruz guides you through the full process of designing a kids-oriented card game, from the first concept and character design to the final product presentation.
You will create 5 or 6 base illustrations in Clip Studio Paint, define a consistent color palette, and adapt your artwork to a functional card design, including front and back. Then you will design the packaging using Affinity, working on composition, typography, logo, and visual identity so the box clearly communicates the concept and target audience.
Finally, you will prepare professional mockups in Photoshop or similar software to showcase the deck and box as real products, ideal for a portfolio, social media or online shop. This course is perfect for illustrators, graphic designers and digital artists who want to apply their art to games, products and children’s illustration while building a coherent visual system from just a few illustrations.
