Learn how to create acoustic‑style drums without ever miking up a real kit. This course walks you through turning loops, samples, MIDI ideas and even AI‑generated stems into drum tracks that feel played rather than assembled, using editing, sound design and mixing.
You’ll work in Logic Pro or any other DAW you’re comfortable with. Along the way you’ll tighten timing without killing the groove, swap or layer sounds when something’s missing, shape transients and dynamics, and build believable drum rooms with reverbs, impulse responses and studio emulations from tools like Universal Audio.
By the end, you’ll know how to build a full kit from scratch—kick, snare, cymbals and the room around them—so everything sits together like a real performance instead of a stock preset. The approach works for rock, pop, indie or any project that needs acoustic‑leaning drums without an acoustic setup.
