Introduction
Beneath the noise and velocity of New York lies a quieter, more intimate city—one made of human connection, vulnerability, humor, and fleeting beauty. As a street photographer, poet, and modern flâneur, I move through these streets attentive to the subtle dramas unfolding in real time. A gesture between strangers, a reflection caught in passing, a moment of tenderness or tension—these are the fragments that draw me in.
I write poetry about the city’s vibrations: its sounds, its moods, its contradictions. The poems and photographs inform one another, each revealing a different facet of the same lived experience. I’m not searching for spectacle; I’m searching for truth—those unguarded instants when the city shows its humanity.
This project is my tribute to the emotional undercurrent of New York. Through images and words, I hope to share the feeling of walking the streets with open eyes and an open heart, witnessing the poetry that exists in every corner of the city.
